Sales & Marketing Executive - 4* Hotel

My client requires a Sales & Marketing Executive for their 4* property in Kildare

Responsibilities include:

  • To maximise revenue and profitability from all market segments.
  • Manage and co-ordinate sales enquiries, sales plans, databases, reports and site inspections.
  • Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitor analysis.
  • Achieve pre-set goals and targets including tele-calls and sales calls as agreed with the General Manager and Resort Directors.
  • Plan and undertake face-to-face sales calls and to regularly meet key account contacts directly in line with agreed and set targets and maintain databases accordingly.
  • Maximise and promoting the profit opportunities of all sales outlets in the property, including food and beverage outlets.
  • Ensure consistency and growth in productivity by providing excellent service to our existing clients and exploring and converting new accounts.
  • Assist in achieving and surpassing revenue forecast and monitoring revenue development with group revenue manager.

Successful candidate will have:

  • 3rd Level Course in Sales, Marketing or Hotel / Tourism
  • 3 years’ Sales & Marketing Experience in a 4* hotel within Ireland.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft office.
  • Experience in web content management a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail

Salary will very much depend on experience
