Junior Sales & Marketing Representative

Limelight Entertainment Group is currently recruiting for a Junior Sales & Marketing Representative for a new position based in Kilkenny. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales & marketing person to join a company that is undergoing change and developing within the entertainment industry.

The Junior Sales & Marketing Representative will become a vital member of the team and will be responsible for driving sales and ultimately for ensuring a successful sales company process.

This is a competitive entry level position that offers advancement towards a senior role.

To have immediate success you should present yourself armed with excellent phone and face-to-face customer management skills, commercial appreciation and ideally some selling experience. There is a support function involved in this role also, so administrative attention to detail and competent organisation skills are important.

THE ROLE

•    Generating new business opportunities through cold calling and business development

•    Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers

•    Re-establishing relationships with lapsed clients

•    Drive sales through new and innovative sale strategies (not all office based)

•    Attend weekly sales meetings to update management on progress, liaise closely with the General Manager in all sales and marketing activities

•    Deal with all incoming enquiries from clients and ensure sales reporting data is kept accurate and up-to-date

•    Maintaining excellent knowledge of different company products at all times

•    Maintain and update all necessary client databases

•    Work strategically with the other company members in a business development capacity

•    Potentially help manage and oversee a targeted sales & marketing campaign

•    Develop an understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements

•    Meet with clients face to face as part of the sales requirement for some of company projects

•    Assist in building sales & marketing content

•    Provide general support and back up to other members of the team

•    Coordinator and producer of digital marketing content and campaigns (i.e. develop and deploy email marketing campaigns, develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms, monitoring and management of all social media activity)

•    Ensuring all queries are dealt with promptly while maintaining and producing up to date sales, marketing and digital reports

•    Develop a personable and professional business relationship with clients

•    Ensure that revenue and profitability are maximised and that all clients receive exceptional sales service, encouraging repeat business

•    Develop an advertising and promotional plan, which is effective in terms of cost and market penetration

•    Development of marketing materials for both print and digital media while liaising with digital, PR, creative and media agencies

•    Deliver customer acquisition targets

•    Up-selling and cross-selling on calls to maximise revenue

•    Review and coordinate all sales enquiries from web and inbound calls, clarify and distribute to the relevant team member

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE:

•    The determination and tenacity to succeed

•    A professional appearance and attitude. Outgoing, confident personality

•    Fluent English

•    Effective interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (written and verbal; such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening)

•    Previous experience in a sales and marketing role would be an advantage

•    A college degree (preferred)

•    Results driven and proven sales success

•    Digital marketing experience - an advantage

•    Ability to use one’s own initiative and possess good time management and organisation skills

•    Ability to develop strong relationships with others and foster a positive company and brand image

•    What it takes to enjoy working with customers and external audiences

•    Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and excel in a fast paced, changing environment

•    Accuracy and attention to detail

•    Good presentation skills

•    A proficient knowledge of general office applications

•    Experience in completing tasks in-line with a defined work plan

•    Skill in preparing written communications and materials

•    A full & clean drivers license

•    Flexibility and a willingness to undertake or assist with all aspects of a busy office environment

ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

•    Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company expectations

•    Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities

•    Be responsible for entering time and expenses on internal systems as they occur

•    Will involve working during evenings on occasions also

•    Assist with organising and promoting any in-house events

•    Results orientated, with a positive outlook and can-do attitude

•    Willingness to 'roll up sleeves' and help where needed

•    An interest in design, merchandising and events is definitely relevant and an advantage

•    The job may require the company representative to start late and finish late while working regular durations i.e. 12 noon to 8pm
