Wedding and Events Coordinator

The 4* The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel located at Newlands Cross, Dublin is part of the Fitzgerald Group which is one of Ireland's largest privately owned hospitality groups. T he hotel boasts a 70 Seat modern restaurant 60 Seat Cafe-Bar,30 Seat Coffee shop with a rustic/ simple food theme with a brassiere style service and a large banqueting suite which caters for 200- 250 pax.

We are currently looking to recruit a part- time Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our team.

Purpose:

The main function of this role is oversee the smooth running of our banqueting events and to ensure all guests receive highest standards of goods and services during their visit.

Person Spec:

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, highly organised and very customer focused to ensure that guests are dealt with in a friendly, professional and efficient manner at all times.

The candidate should have previous Wedding and Events Coordinator experience with good attention to detail to ensure all specific requests are delivered to our customers.

Responsibilities:

-Always representing the image and reputation of the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel to its best with an outstanding positive attitude and an excellent understanding of customers needs and exceeding their expectations.

-Build detailed event profile for each client. All communications with a client should be captured & stored.

-Delivering customer requirements and accurate presentation of contract/quotations to win contracts/sales

-Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales and securing with deposits in line with company procedures.

-Responsible for ensuring the up to date knowledge of all hotels products, services and promotions to ensure that a higher yield business is gained by the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel

-Representing the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel at trade exhibitions, Shopping Centre Promotions, Travel Show Promotions and any other events or demonstrations as requested by Hotel Management

-Continually monitoring KPIs and aiming to meet or exceed targets

-Continually conducting market research to gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses needs and requirements and future buying trends

-Continually liaising with the hotel Sales & Marketing team to ensure best practice with regards to all business conducted within the Hotel
