Duties & Responsibilities

Event Strategy

  • Development and delivery of event strategy in conjunction with the Head of Member Engagement and the HealthXL team.
  • Adapt the event strategy based on event learning and feedback from HealthXL community and past events.
  • Develop relationships and engage event partners and sponsors.

Event and Webinar Operations

  • Lead the delivery of all operational requirements for each HealthXL event and workshop.
  • Implement HealthXL event guides and standards.
  • Identification and execution of operational efficiencies through the application of new technologies and best practices.
  • Budget management
  • Lead the delivery and all operational requirements of online webinars.

Event Implementation and delivery

  • Implement event strategy.
  • Lead on site implementation of each event where applicable.

Person Specification

Previous Experience

  • Experience in organizing and delivering events.
  • Previous experience of project management advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role desired

Skills Required

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills.
  • Proactive in handling issues, risks, dependencies and escalations.
  • Adaptability and versatility – the ability to be flexible with the ever-changing needs
    of both the client and the business, comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Ambition and drive to persevere despite challenges.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office and online tools which aid event operations such as tito, Eventbrite, webinar software etc

Legal Requirements

  • The successful candidate is required to be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland on a full time basis.

Job Details

Job Title: Global Events Coordinator
Place of Work: HealthXL, 41 a/b Drury Street, Dublin 2.
Reporting to: Julie Carty, Head of Member Engagement
Working with: HealthXL team
Contract: Permanent full time
Hours of Work: Normal working hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday flexibility is required on start and end time daily to support changing business needs and time zones of our global clients.
Salary: Negotiable
Job Purpose: To organise and deliver quality global HealthXL events.
